How This Started
Bethany has spent over 15 years in recruiting and growth consulting, working across multiple industries. But when she started working with community association management companies, she saw something different. These companies were struggling with a real problem: the recruiting and consulting firms serving them didn’t understand the industry.
Generalist recruiters would place people who looked good on paper but failed in practice. Consultants would apply best practices from other industries without understanding the specific pressures and realities of CAM. Companies would solve one problem-hiring-only to discover the real issue was systems, role clarity, onboarding, or burnout.
She realized that CAM companies needed something different. They needed a partner who actually understood the industry. Not someone who would recruit and disappear. Not someone who would slap a generic solution on a specific problem. Someone who understood what makes a strong CAM manager, what causes burnout, and why so many hires fail in practice.
